Q. Is participation in H.I.P.P. programs voluntary?

A.Yes. Participation in any program is completely voluntary and there is no requirement for employee or their relatives to participate. The purpose of H.I.P.P. is to inform area municipal employees and family members of available health services and programs. We do hope you take full advantage of these programs for your health and well being.

Q. Is participation in H.I.P.P. progams confidential?

A.Yes. Participation in any H.I.P.P. program is strictly confidential. Identification obtained by program administration is only used to provide services, communicate with you regarding the program, possible program follow-up initiatives and, in cases of medical testing, provide you with the medical test results.

Q.How do I find out more about individual programs?

A. You can contact one of your municipal contacts listed on our Contact Information page or, in some cases, contact the coordinator of the particular program you that holds your interest.

Needs Assessment Survey: Reducing Stress in the Workplace

Presented by Elizabeth Coleman, Samantha Gamez and Cory Urban, Needs Assessment Surveys were developed and passed out to the different municipalities in each city. These surveys picked out specific areas that are of the greatest concern to the employees of said municipalities. Different programs are being developed and implemented to meet these needs.
